Pitch Package Requirements

I require my sign-off and having worked extensively with my clients for the Pitch Package for many reasons, but the main one is that I want to give you the best shot at querying.

There are no guarantees in publishing. I in no way guarantee that working with me will land you an agent, or a publishing deal. This business is subjective as hell.

I will promise to help you make both your manuscript and your entire pitch package as strong as it can be. And that involves making sure your manuscript is ready.

If we’ve worked together on planning (either from scratch or revision) and I don’t think you’re ready to pitch, I'll tell you. Querying without being ready is both the most common and biggest mistake writers can make, which means making sure your manuscript is ready is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. You could have an amazing query with the best hook ever, but if the manuscript isn't ready when the agent requests it, there’s your shot, gone.
